OHL supervisior (H/F)
On behalf of one of our international clients operating in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a OHL supervisior (M/F) for a 1-year assignment in Australia.
As OHL supervisior, your main tasks will be to :
The OHL Supervisor responsible for the construction of substations is in charge of supervising and coordinating activities related to overhead power lines (OHL) in substation construction. This professional plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and managing overhead power line activities to ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed plans for overhead power line work in coordination with other construction teams.
Ensure effective planning of human and material resources.
Safety:
Implement and maintain rigorous safety standards in accordance with regulations.
Supervise safety procedures for workers and equipment.
Resource Management:
Supervise personnel and subcontractors involved in OHL work.
Manage equipment and materials necessary for overhead power line construction.
Inspection and Testing:
Supervise regular inspections of OHL equipment.
Organize and verify compliance tests to ensure the quality of installations.
Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, tests conducted, and incidents that occur.
Prepare regular reports on the progress of work and any issues encountered.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other supervisors and construction team members.
Ensure seamless integration of overhead power lines with other components of the substation.
Previous experience in the construction of substations or similar projects.
In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations for overhead power lines.
Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Leadership skills and ability to make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Significant experience in supervising electric overhead line projects.
