Linux Engineer (M/F)

As part of a partnership with a major international organization, we are looking for a Linux Engineer (M/F)

Your main tasks:

- Install, monitor, and maintain Unix/Linux OS and applications as per NCIRC NCSC standards.
- Resolve user issues, address change requests, and implement security measures.
- Contribute to team ensuring availability, scalability, and performance of NCSC environment and tools.
- Develop and maintain custom systems for testing, integration, automation, and monitoring.
- Support specialist applications upgrades and new feature deployments.
- Create comprehensive documentation for configuration processes and policies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Linux OS issues within NCSC environment.
- Generate solutions for complex problems, integrating into NCSC setup.
- Identify improvements to reduce incidents and downtime.
- Collaborate with Service Management team on operational procedures.

Profil recherché

Your Profile:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 5 years' Linux Engineer experience.
OR
- Secondary education with vocational education leading to professional qualification, with 7 years' relevant experience.
- Expertise in Unix/Linux infrastructure management (minimum 5 years).
- Advanced proficiency in Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Strong understanding of Automation, Versioning, and CMDB in DevOps.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex Linux system issues (networking, storage, security).
- Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management (AD, SUDO, permissions).

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with Red Hat Satellite, packaging, and observability practices.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Podman, Docker), Atlassian tools, and VMware.
- Participation in open-source community projects.
- Previous international environment experience (military, civilian mix).
