Head of Environmental Management and Monitoring (M/F)
On behalf of one of our international clients, we are looking for a Head of Environmental Management and Monitoring (M/F).
The Environmental Managing and Monitoring Lead plays a critical role in overseeing and implementing environmental management systems and monitoring programs within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, assessing environmental risks, and developing strategies to minimize the organization's environmental impact. The Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
•Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
•Lead the design and execution of environmental monitoring programs, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.
•Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
•Analyze data and prepare reports on environmental performance, trends, and compliance status.
•Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and operations.
•Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental best practices and compliance requirements.
•Stay updated on changes in environmental laws and regulations, and ensure organizational compliance.
•5+ years of experience in environmental management, monitoring, or related field.
•In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex environmental data.
•Experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems (ISO 14001, EMAS, etc.).
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
•Proficiency in environmental monitoring techniques, software, and tools.
•Certification in environmental management (e.g., CEM, REM, etc.) is a plus.
•Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Profil recherché
•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).•5+ years of experience in environmental management, monitoring, or related field.
