Mission Description
Project: Bridge 216
Location: Differdange, Luxembourg
Duration: July to December 2026 (possibility of contract extension)
Reporting Line: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Main Mission
Ensure the preparation, coordination, supervision of works, and commissioning of Bridge 216 at the ArcelorMittal site in Differdange, while meeting safety, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management
Organize and coordinate the activities of installation teams and subcontractors.
Plan site activities according to the project schedule.
Supervise the progress of works on site.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Participate in site meetings and provide daily reporting.
Verify the conformity and quality of completed works.
Technical Coordination
Review and analyze drawings, electrical and mechanical schematics, and technical documentation.
Act as the interface between the engineering office, the client, and site stakeholders.
Identify and resolve technical issues encountered on site.
Monitor punch lists and corrective actions.
Commissioning
Prepare functional tests and commissioning activities.
Verify the proper operation of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Participate in no-load and full-load testing of the overhead crane.
Perform adjustments required to achieve contractual performance targets.
Ensure all punch list items are closed before final acceptance.
Support the client during acceptance testing and handover of the installation.
Safety & Quality
Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) rules and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and safety briefings/toolbox talks.
Monitor and control the quality of completed works.
Ensure full traceability of tests and site interventions.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Knowledge of electromechanics, automation systems, and variable speed drives.
Experience with industrial commissioning procedures.
Understanding of safety standards related to lifting equipment.
Organizational Skills

Experience in commissioning industrial or lifting equipment.
Electrical certifications and industrial safety training are considered a strong advantage.
