QC Méchanical Engineer

As part of the construction of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg, we are seeking a
Mechanical Quality Controller (QC). The role of the Mechanical QC is crucial to ensure the quality and
compliance of mechanical installations on site.

Job Description:

- Supervision and Control: You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling mechanical works
(HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, etc.) to ensure they meet technical specifications, quality
standards, and contractual requirements.
- Inspection and Verification: Carry out regular inspections of mechanical installations, verify
compliance with drawings and construction standards, and identify any deviations or non
conformities.
- Coordination: Work closely with construction teams, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve
technical issues and ensure that mechanical works are executed properly and within the required
deadlines.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain documentation related to inspections and
quality control, write detailed reports on progress and any non-conformities, and recommend
corrective actions when necessary.
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure adherence to safety standards and local construction
regulations, and promote best practices in quality on site.

Profil recherché

- Fluent English required
- knowledge of Portuguese or Turkish is a plus
- Knowledge of quality inspections and testing
- Proven experience in delivering projects of a similar nature
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
- Familiarity with HSE and quality standards
- Good command of MS Office
- BSc/BA in Engineering, Building Sciences, or a related field
