HVAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Project Execution & Site Management :
- Supervise HVAC installation works on-site (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
- Coordinate daily activities with site managers, technicians, and subcontractors
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and site procedures
- Manage technical issues and propose practical solutions during construction

Technical Coordination (MEP):
- Coordinate HVAC works with other disciplines (electrical, plumbing, fire protection, automation)
- Review and adapt technical drawings based on site constraints
- Act as interface between design office and site teams
- Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors

Engineering & Preparation:
- Support detailed design and execution studies (EXE phase)
- Perform basic calculations and system sizing adjustments if needed
- Select equipment in coordination with suppliers (AHUs, chillers, heat pumps, etc.)
- Prepare technical documentation and method statements

Testing, Commissioning & Handover:
- Supervise testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Ensure systems operate according to performance requirements
- Participate in system balancing and optimization
- Prepare as-built documentation and handover files (DOE)

Quality, Compliance & Sustainability:
- Ensure compliance with Luxembourgish and European standards
- Contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable solutions (e.g. heat pumps, energy optimization)
- Support projects with environmental certifications (BREEAM, etc. if applicable)

Profil recherché

Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (air and water systems)
- Good understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, automation)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit (BIM is a plus)
- Knowledge of site execution methods and constraints

- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines

Profile Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical / Energy / Building Services Engineering

Experience:
- Experienced: 5–7+ years in construction or technical installations
