Position Overview

As part of a major industrial infrastructure project in Luxembourg, the E&A Project Manager will be responsible for leading all engineering activities related to electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems, from the design phase through commissioning preparation.

The successful candidate will ensure that all project objectives are achieved in terms of safety, quality, schedule, technical performance, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
- Lead and coordinate all Engineering & Automation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and technical objectives.
- Organize and facilitate progress review meetings with stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks.
- Provide regular project reporting to management and the client.

Electrical Engineering
- Supervise LV and HV electrical engineering studies.
- Review and approve electrical schematics, calculations, and power distribution architectures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industrial standards and regulations.

Automation & Instrumentation
- Define automation and control system architectures.
- Coordinate the development of PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
- Supervise the selection and integration of instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure seamless integration of systems within the existing production environment.

Technical Coordination
- Manage interfaces between:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Automation
Production
Maintenance
- Coordinate activities with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), and acceptance testing activities.

Commissioning
- Prepare commissioning procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate functional testing activities.
- Provide technical support during start-up and commissioning phases.
- Ensure a smooth handover to operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with client standards and project specifications.
- Validate all E&A technical deliverables.
- Monitor supplier performance and project progress.
- Manage technical modifications and change requests.
- Support project objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

Profil recherché

Education
Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Automation Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Or a related technical discipline

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial project management.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Previous experience in heavy industry, steel plants, mining, manufacturing, or large-scale industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with commissioning and industrial start-up activities is considered a strong advantage.
