Mining Support Specialist
Objective:
Lead the support for mining dealers and customers in the Nordic region, ensuring optimal performance of mining machinery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership and Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the assembly, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance of mining equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide expert assistance to dealers.
- Develop and implement training programs for dealer staff on Condition Monitoring and maintenance best practices.
Continuous Improvement and Strategic Reporting:
- Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance maintenance and operational practices.
- Compile and analyze operational data to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports on machinery status, challenges, and progress on key projects for the head office and stakeholders.
Stakeholder and Relationship Management:
- Actively participate in and lead key meetings with stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Coordinate closely with Amsterdam's head office to align regional activities with overall business objectives.
- Lead field visits and maintain strong professional relationships with all partners and customers.
Performance Metrics:
- Achievement of machine availability and reliability targets.
- Leadership in continuous improvement projects with measurable operational benefits.
- High satisfaction ratings from internal and external stakeholders.
Experience: Over 10 years in mining equipment management, including significant experience in product support and team leadership.
Skills:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Nordic languages highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of the full lifecycle management of mining equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.Experience: Over 10 years in mining equipment management, including significant experience in product support and team leadership.
