Project Manager (H/F)
On behalf of a major player in the energy sector, we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of medium-voltage electrical distribution projects in Angola. The objective of this project is to modernize and expand electrical infrastructure, specifically to improve access to electricity in both urban and rural areas of Angola. As a Project Manager, your mission will be to supervise and coordinate the implementation of medium-voltage electrical distribution projects (up to 66 kV).
Key Responsibilities:
*Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of electrical distribution projects.
- Manage project risks, costs, quality, and timelines.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure the application of best practices in project management.
*Technical Supervision:
- Lead and supervise the construction of electrical distribution networks up to 66 kV.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical solutions to resolve on-site issues.
*Communication and Collaboration:
- Ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and financial institutions.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and clients.
- Manage relationships with international financial institutions to ensure compliance with financing conditions.
- English: Professional proficiency
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in power electrical systems.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction of electrical distribution networks up to 66 kV.
- At least 7 years of project management experience, including leading the implementation of at least 3 distribution projects up to 33 kV within the last 10 years.
- At least 2 of these projects must be international turnkey contracts funded by international financial institutions.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of international standards and requirements for projects funded by IFIs (International Financial Institutions).

Profil recherché
- Portuguese: Fluent (Essential)- English: Professional proficiency
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in power electrical systems.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction of electrical distribution networks up to 66 kV.
- At least 7 years of project management experience, including leading the implementation of at least 3 distribution projects up to 33 kV within the last 10 years.
- At least 2 of these projects must be international turnkey contracts funded by international financial institutions.
