Distribution Line Design Engineer
On behalf of one of our international clients based in Angola, we are looking for a Distribution Line Design Engineer.
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Line Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and management of electrical distribution system projects up to 66 kV. This role involves planning, designing, testing, and validating equipment for both low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) distribution systems, including household connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan electrical distribution system projects up to 66 kV.
- Develop technical plans and distribution schematics for LV and MV systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical distribution equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Actively participate in the management of projects funded by international institutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in similar projects and in designing, testing, and validating LV and MV distribution system equipment.
- Experience with at least 2 projects funded by international financial institutions.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other electrical modeling tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Additional certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering are a plus.
