Expert Digital (M/F)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Expert to lead our internal technical team and manage specialized technicians. As a quasi-developer, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, managing software-related tasks, and ensuring that the digital infrastructure is aligned with project needs. A strong understanding of the local region (preferably Qatar, Egypt, or similar) and the ability to work within international, diverse teams is crucial. English proficiency is essential, and knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages (such as Hindi, Pashto) is a plus. French is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage a diverse, international team of in-house specialists and technicians.
- Technical Oversight: Act as a quasi-developer, overseeing the use and integration of various digital tools and software according to project requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify project needs and ensure all digital solutions are implemented according to specifications.
- Software Management: Ensure the efficient deployment, operation, and maintenance of relevant software systems.
- Cultural and Regional Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of the Middle East region, specifically markets such as Qatar or Egypt, to navigate challenges effectively.
- Multicultural Team Dynamics: Work with teams of various skill levels and cultural backgrounds, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Strong technical understanding of software tools and ability to handle complex digital systems.
- Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, particularly in international settings.
- Regional knowledge of Qatar, Egypt, or similar areas.
- Language skills: Fluency in English, with basic knowledge of Arabic. Knowledge of Hindi, Pashto, or other regional languages is a plus.
- Ability to work with teams with varying skill levels and international backgrounds.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and tools commonly used in the digital space.
- Experience working in culturally diverse environments with a range of technical proficiencies.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, particularly in complex and multi-cultural contexts.
