Design Manager (M/F)
On behalf of one of our international clients, we are seeking a Design Manager (M/F) for a permanent position based in Al-'Ula Saudi Arabia.
The Design Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the client projet. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Main Responsibilities :
- Lead the management of portfolios containing multiple building and infrastructure projects at various stages of development. Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and direction to design teams, ensuring adherence to project requirements, codes, and regulations. Review and approve design deliverables to ensure compliance with client expectations.
- Assess project resource requirements and organize necessary personnel, materials, and equipment to execute project work efficiently.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate smooth project progression and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Proactively manage challenges to minimize potential impacts on project delivery.
- Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Provide strong leadership to subordinate managers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Motivate teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Accommodate challenging clients and stakeholder groups by effectively managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex project issues and find innovative solutions.
- Consistently deliver high-quality work under changing circumstances and challenging deadlines, maintaining composure and resilience under pressure.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey project requirements, updates, and issues. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
- Possess a good working knowledge of project management software to streamline project workflows and enhance productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive experience managing portfolios containing multiple building and infrastructure projects.

- Solid understanding of project management principles, including quality control and risk management.
- High-level skills in project planning, leadership, and delivery.

- Minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience in architecture, engineering, or related field.- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or equivalent experience.

- Solid understanding of project management principles, including quality control and risk management.
